Step 1: Crucial! Clear Your Clutter and
clean your spaces.
In good conscience, I cannot help someone to activate any
area of their home, and therefore their life, unless and
until their negative energy drains and issues are addressed.
If
we don't address the negative energy drains, we will be
getting more chaos. The Chinese have a saying, "Be
careful what you ask for: you will get it." In my
workshops I share my own experiences with this fundamental
rule, and take it from me: I learned the hard way.
If
you are an optimist, you can see this as a positive: it will
bring up issues that you have not yet dealt with or that are
blocking you from your dreams. This is actually a good
thing, but why not address them first, so that it doesn't
happen in technicolor!
Step 2: Decide What You Want
Believe it or not, in my recent work with over 300 people
this year alone, this was the most difficult step. So
I have tried to simplify it by asking a few questions:
In
the last few breaths of your life, what will you be
thinking about? This is what you value. Are you giving
those things daily attention and love?
What
did you always think your life would be like? What parts
of that make your heart fly? How can you incorporate
that into your day?
What
would you like to daydream about? This usually tells you
what your Heart Desires...keep daydreaming, keep taking
action steps and know: it can happen.
To
the Life Force in, through and all around us, there is no
degree of difficulty. It's as effortless to create a forrest
as it is a human, an easy-bake-oven or a pony, a football or
a planet.
Esther
and Jerry Hicks, in their books (Ask and It is Given and
The Power of Intention) remind us exactly what Feng
Shui calls the Wealth Corner: Persistent Wind. Our ships are
ALWAYS coming in, one after the next, again and again. It is
we who are blocking it, creating our life as it is now, over
and over again. Through our thoughts ('that can't happen to
me', 'I don't deserve that', or things like: "that's
not possible") we seal our reality and the Universal
Life Force says: "Your Wish Is My Command."
"Just keep letting it in, " says Esther,
"that's your only job...keep letting it in."
Henry
Ford said it another way, "Whether you think you can,
or whether you think you cannot: you are right."
BOTTOM LINE: What do you want? Just ask and watch for it to
show up...it always does.
Step 3: Get your Spaces to Work with
You.
This is the Feng Shui part. The beauty of Feng Shui is that
there is usually a way to resolve any negative issue. This
is where knowledge and action come in.
Feng
Shui translates from Chinese as "Wind Water"...I
say it also means "It Depends." The 'cures' depend
on you, what you want, the placement of things around you,
all the tangibles and intangibles of your life. It is
knowledge (Feng Shui), awareness, intention and attention.
All
of these things are available to you in one form or
another...pick up a book, come to a workshop, call for a
